Who are Peace Action Ōtautahi?

We are an Ōtautahi/Christchurch-based group of peace activists, fighting for radical liberation through self-determination. We stand in solidarity with exploited and oppressed human beings globally and are proudly continuing a legacy of peace activism in the face of state and corporate violence.

We stand up to war criminals, weapons manufacturers, and state enforcers of violence. We strongly oppose all complicity with genocide and the subjugation of peoples globally.

Peace Action Ōtautahi functions both as an independent organisation and as a broad coalition for those opposed to war. Our members fit within various left wing organisations, unions, political parties, and groups, and acknowledges that our ideological differences strengthen our collective work for liberation.

We say no to war profiteering in our city, a Peace City. Support us in our efforts to make the world a better, more just place.
